Overview
A slurry pump is a centrifugal pump built for punishment. The casing is thick where an ordinary pump is thin, the impeller runs wide clearances so solids pass instead of jamming, and the wear parts are designed to be replaced rather than to last forever.
It moves water that is carrying sand, silt or process solids — duty that would destroy a clean-water pump in weeks.
